# Privacy Policy — CloseoutPhotoApp

CloseoutPhotoApp was designed and developed by **Warren Carter and John Rohan** and is owned and managed by **CMS Telecom Services**. It is a field-documentation tool used by technicians to capture and organize telecom site closeout photos.

## The short version

**This app collects no data.** It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Everything you enter or capture stays on your device unless you personally choose to export and send it.

## Information stored on your device

When you first open the app, you enter your **name, company, and email address**. This information:

- Is stored only on your device

- Is never transmitted to CMS Telecom Services, the developer, or anyone else by the app

- Is used solely to identify your work inside the closeout packages you choose to export

The app also stores your **jobs, checklist progress, notes, and photos** on your device. Photos are additionally saved to an album in your device's Photos app for your own backup and review.

## Camera, Photos, and Location permissions

- **Camera** — used to capture closeout photos. Required for the app's core function.

- **Photos library** — used to save captured photos to a per-job album on your device, and to let you attach existing photos to checklist items.

- **Location (while using the app)** — used to tag photos with GPS coordinates and compass direction as proof-of-work documentation. This information is embedded in the photo files and visibly stamped on them. It is not transmitted anywhere by the app. You may decline location access; photos will simply not carry location data.

## When data leaves your device

Data leaves your device **only when you choose to export it**. Exporting packages your photos and job summary (including your name, company, and email) into a ZIP file, which you then send through apps and services you control — such as OneDrive, email, AirDrop, or Files. Those services' own privacy policies govern the transfer. Exported closeout packages received by CMS Telecom Services are used for site closeout documentation and records.

## Third parties

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. If you install the app through Apple's TestFlight beta program, Apple may provide CMS Telecom Services with crash logs and basic usage statistics in accordance with [Apple's privacy terms](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

## Data retention and deletion

All app data lives on your device. You can delete any job (including its photos) inside the app, and deleting the app removes all app data. Photos saved to your Photos app album remain in your Photos library under your control. Exported closeout packages held by CMS Telecom Services are retained under company record-keeping practices.

## Children

This app is a workplace tool intended for use by employees and contractors of CMS Telecom Services. It is not directed at children.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
